Application Process
Applicants must submit an online application form or a hard copy application form which requires them to submit their personal and professional details along with an essay.
Candidates will be assessed on their attitude and willingness to build a successful career and their aptitude and potential to benefit from the holistic learning experience.

Selection Process
Profile Shortlisting:
Shortlist students based on the overall profile by looking beyond past academic performance and look for potential to do well. The essay will assess intellectual curiosity, ability to think critically, analytical prowess, and communication skills necessary to thrive in the program and make meaningful contributions to the learning community.
Personal Interview:
Shortlisted profiles will be interviewed by the Interview Board at Shakti. Interviews last about 30-45 minutes.
The interviews will be conducted in-person for Odisha candidates and virtually on Google meet/Zoom for candidates outside of Odisha. In some cases, a second round of evaluation can be conducted in the form of a personal interview or a written/video assignment.
Admissions Result:
Final decisions will be emailed to all candidates within three weeks of the interview. A communication from the admissions team regarding the final decision of candidature will be shared. Possible outcomes being Accepted, Rejected or Waitlisted.
Accepted candidates will receive an admission letter with guidelines to secure the admission seat. Waitlisted candidates will have to wait for further communication from the admissions team on their further evaluation. Rejected candidates are not eligible to apply in the same year.
