One-on-one mentorship by industry and women leaders offers invaluable guidance and support to learners as they navigate their professional journeys.
The internship program at Shakti provides a unique opportunity for hands-on experience through a six-week internship with industry leaders. This exposure allows learners to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, preparing them for the challenges of the workforce and helping them develop their leadership styles. Selected Shakti learners will intern for six weeks with our international partners abroad. This will expose Shakti learners to the work environment at an international level giving them the international workplace exposure. Learners will also have access to a course on Personal Grooming, which is a specialised internship on beauty and hair in collaboration with the World Skill Center (WSC).
Transformative approach through personalized coaching, focussed job prep, international exposure and real-world internship and mentorship, for assured placements. Shakti offers comprehensive placement support ensuring that every learner receives appropriate placement opportunities and assured placement on completion of the program. The program also offers guidance and assistance to learners interested in pursuing entrepreneurial ventures, through its undertaking SWAKALPA at the World Skill Centre.
At Shakti learners graduate not only as competent professionals, but also as compassionate and socially responsible individuals, conscious of environment conservation and sustainability, poised to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world. Learners will dedicate a month of their learning journey to activities such as working at government schools, organizing cleanliness drives, adopting a stream to clean and promoting basic hygiene and environmental consciousness in Odisha. In year two Shakti alumni will sponsor their upcoming juniors with 20% of their first two month salary as their give back to Shakti gesture.
