Odisha Police Pipe Band Team Won the 3rd Prize in the All India Police Band Competition.
The State Police Band unit plays a pivotal role in the State level functions, Ceremonial Parade, District level functions and other Police as well as Govt. functions.
Besides that, it is used to give Rastriya Salute welcoming in the arrival of the dignitaries such as President of India, Vice-President and Governor and foreign dignitaries.
The Band plays it's tune at the Republic day parade, Independence day parade, Odisha Police Formation day Parade and on the beating the retreat parade.
The Band also plays it’s tunes while giving Salute to the Martyrs.
