To expose the trainees to the global perspective, develop cross cultural awareness and to learn new sets of advanced skills, WSC organises Student Exchange Program (SEP) Theobjective of the SEP is to enrich and enhance the learning experiences of trainers in becoming skilled professionals. The SEP will support the intent of WSC to prepare and orientate its graduates for the global labour market.
Currently WSC hosts SEP for selected trainees to Singapore. 3 batches of trainees have already been to Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore. ITEEducation Services, together with the School of Engineering of the ITE, Singapore prepares a customised programme for the SEPcatering specifically for WSC trainees.
The SEP allows students to experience an authentic and fun ways of learning. Participating trainees gain experiential learning through the simulation of hands-on training. Trainees also get the opportunity to expose themselves with the training technologies and infrastructures available at ITE Singapore. Finally, the trainees gain further international knowledge and experiences through the various learning journeys and cultural activities.
