About WSC LRC :
WSC-LRC is well-stocked with the latest collection of books, journals, magazines, and other resources and it caters to the needs of the entire WSC community. The vast no. of learning resources for all the courses and of diverse topics along with a well furnished reading area makes LRC an attraction among the students and staff. Along with these, there are other facilities like discussion rooms, AV Rooms and Thesis rooms where learners will have the chance to engage in collaborative learning while working in groups.
A unique feature which makes WSC LRC stand out in comparison to any other library is the AR / VR Facility where students can get immersive learning experience through Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality for domain trades as well as Life Skills.
The LRC has adapted technology in all its operation like Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) System for smooth check-in and check-out from the Resource Centre and sensor enabled security gates. Similarly Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) Kiosks have been installed for ease of searching .
All These features will go a long way in redefining the image of traditional library by introducing the concept of Learning Resource Centre.
