For the last decade and a half, Odisha has covered a lot of ground in relaying the roadmap to make itself the “Skills Capital of India”. Major interventions in the Skilling eco-systems have catapulted it to the position of a market leader when it comes to skill development in the country.
In its journey to train the unemployed and marginalised youth of Odisha, develop their skills and enhance their employability, WSC has taken a step further by offering customised demand driven short term skill development programs for the empowerment of youths of Odisha.
World Skill Center (WSC) being a section 8 company under companies act, 2013 is eligible to receive CSR funds for imparting skill training of candidates.
WSC has always strived to be a model of excellence and a catalyst of transformation in all its endeavors be it business prosperity or its commitment to society. It has always believed in creating shared values and impact through its various initiatives that have touched millions of lives. The CSR initiatives at WSC are well established and are in sync & seek inspiration from issues of national importance and Government’s policies and priorities for creating an impact at scale.
WSC believes in inclusive growth and upliftment of the marginalized segments of the society. We continue to focus on collaboration and communication as well as building sustained communities through our CSR initiatives.
We are committed to foster partnership with industry partners for CSR funding through initiatives in certain priority areas such as Quality Education & Skill Building and Gender Equality & Social Empowerment. To maximize our societal outreach and create impact at scale, we partner with various industry partners who are interested to fund the projects aligned with our CSR objectives.
